sorry i didn't get to see you when i picked up my work from wayne state a few tuesdays ago... normally i'm bogged down by teaching here in lincoln the same days you're down in nebraska. one of these days you need to come down and visit erika and i here in lincoln, our home is always open... we've even got passable vegan cuisine...
So great to get a chance to talk at Frogman's this summer! - Sarah
I sure wish you could have joined us here in Austin for graduate school, though I can obviously see that you did very well for yourself anyway.I will be looking for you in Chicago, so I hope you can go next Spring. Are you teaching there in Vermillion? I was a guest artist there in early October one Fall and was driving back and forth to Beresford in Lloyds little MGB and got caught one night in a snowstorm. It quickly reminded me of my years in Madison,WI. How are your children? Anneka is going to be 11 on Oct.7th!!! Hugs, T.H.
How are things in Vermillion?
I am not sure if I want to sacrifice nearly all of my time for teaching. It is depressing to be away from my studio so much! I can't imagine having kids and trying to get work done! My dog is already enough work... but she is great! She comes to the studio with me, she loves it.
I would love to make prints all day for the rest of my life. Selling is always up and down. August was great.... sold quite a few prints, but who knows what I might sell this month. I just wish it was a more reliable income.
