I sure wish you could have joined us here in Austin for graduate school, though I can obviously see that you did very well for yourself anyway.I will be looking for you in Chicago, so I hope you can go next Spring. Are you teaching there in Vermillion? I was a guest artist there in early October one Fall and was driving back and forth to Beresford in Lloyds little MGB and got caught one night in a snowstorm. How are things in Vermillion?
I am not sure if I want to sacrifice nearly all of my time for teaching. It is depressing to be away from my studio so much! I can't imagine having kids and trying to get work done! My dog is already enough work... but she is great! She comes to the studio with me, she loves it.
I would love to make prints all day for the rest of my life. Selling is always up and down. August was great.... sold quite a few prints, but who knows what I might sell this month. I just wish it was a more reliable income.
