"As You Wish" Print Exchange organized by Melanie Yazzie

My print for the "As You Wish" print exchange organized by Melanie Yazzie can be found on my own blog. It has an image of the print, artist's statement and a streaming video. The print is titled "The New Sheriff," and is a continuation of my other art. I can't wait to see what everyone else made for the folio (I was guilty of tardiness for this folio, and I send my apologies to Melanie and all the other artists who worked hard to be on time).

Art Project with the Tamarind Institute, Crow's Shadow, 6 Artists & 4 Master Printers/ Nice stuff

Frank Janzen, Master Printer from the Crow's Shadow Art Institute collaborating with Larry McNeil, making two editions of lithographs. The prints from the six artists are now showing at the Pequot Museum in Connecticut.

The essay talks about a lot of the nuances of collaborating with a master printer, including discussions about the creative process, inks, travel and coffee (all relevant to the process, of course).…

I usually have mine framed at a place that is good but inexpensive. I currently have a large piece at a place that I met personally with the framer and they are doing it well and inexpensive to get it right. I know my friend Emily and many others order frames from Florida Frames on line ad assemble them them selves so you could look into that! I miss you all up there!
